Responsible Gambling Policy

At Vegas Nova, we are committed to creating a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment for all our players. Gambling should always be a form of entertainment and never a source of financial stress, personal harm, or family conflict. We take our responsible gambling obligations seriously, actively promote safe gaming, and provide tools to help you stay in control. Responsible gambling requires a joint commitment from us and from you. The tools we provide work only if you engage with them honestly.

1. Know the Risks

1.1 Gambling involves real money and real risk. All outcomes are determined by chance. There is no strategy that guarantees a win. Over time, the mathematical house edge means the casino will generate revenue; this is the basis on which gambling businesses operate.
1.2 Before you play, please consider the following: only gamble with money you can afford to lose; set a budget before you play, stick to it, and never chase losses; gambling should never be used as a way to earn income or solve financial problems; alcohol, stress, or emotional distress can impair judgement; avoid gambling in these states; and every gambling session should have a pre-set time and money limit.

2. Player Tools & Limits

Vegas Nova offers the following tools to help you manage your gambling. All tools can be set or adjusted by contacting our Customer Support team.

2.1 Deposit Limits. You may set a maximum amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly, or monthly period. Once a deposit limit is set, it takes effect immediately. Increases to an existing limit are subject to a 24-hour cooling-off period before they become active. Decreases take effect immediately.
2.2 Time-Outs. You may take a short break from gambling by requesting a time-out. Time-outs can be set for periods ranging from 24 hours to 6 weeks. During a time-out, you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. Time-outs cannot be reversed or shortened once activated; they must run their full duration.
2.3 Self-Exclusion. If you feel you need a longer break, self-exclusion blocks your access to Vegas Nova for a defined period ranging from 6 months to permanent exclusion. During self-exclusion: you cannot log in, deposit, play, or place bets; you will not receive any marketing or promotional communications; any bonuses associated with your account are cancelled; and any winnings generated during the self-exclusion period are void and will not be paid. We will take reasonable steps to prevent you from opening new accounts during a self-exclusion period. However, you must not attempt to circumvent your own exclusion by registering a new account. Once a self-exclusion period is activated, it cannot be reversed or shortened. At the end of the exclusion period, your account will not be automatically reactivated; you must contact us and confirm you wish to return. A minimum 24-hour cooling-off applies before reactivation.

3. Self-Assessment

Not sure if your gambling is becoming a problem? Ask yourself the following questions honestly:

  • Do I spend more on gambling than I can comfortably afford to lose?
  • Do I gamble to escape problems, stress, anxiety, or boredom?
  • Do I chase losses, meaning keep betting to try to win back money I have lost?
  • Do I feel irritable or anxious when I am not gambling?
  • Has gambling affected my work, relationships, health, or sleep?
  • Do I lie to friends or family about how much I gamble or spend?
  • Have I borrowed money to fund gambling?
  • Have I tried to stop or cut down and found it difficult?

If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, we strongly encourage you to use our responsible gambling tools or reach out to one of the support organisations listed in Section 6.

4. Underage Gambling

4.1 Vegas Nova strictly prohibits access to anyone under the age of 18, or below the legal gambling age in their country of residence. We make every reasonable effort to detect and block underage users, including through age verification checks during registration and KYC.
4.2 If we discover a player is underage: their account will be immediately closed; all deposits will be refunded; all bets will be declared void; and any winnings, including those already withdrawn, must be returned to us in full. We reserve the right to pursue recovery through legal means.
4.3 If you are a parent or guardian, we recommend using content filtering and parental control software to restrict access to gambling websites. Trusted options include: Gamban (gamban.com): blocks gambling websites across all devices; Net Nanny (netnanny.com): parental control and content filtering software; and Betfilter (betfilter.com): software designed specifically to block gambling sites.

5. High-Value Player Monitoring

5.1 We apply enhanced monitoring to players who display high-spend or high-frequency patterns to assess whether gambling may be causing harm. Where our monitoring systems identify potential vulnerability signals, a member of our team may reach out. This is not a restriction; it is a proactive welfare measure.
5.2 Vulnerability signals we monitor for include, but are not limited to: significant and rapid increases in deposit frequency or amounts; repeated deposits immediately following withdrawals; extended continuous play sessions; patterns of chasing losses over multiple sessions; and requests to reverse self-exclusion or limit settings shortly after activation.

7. Policy Notes & Liability

7.1 Our Player Limitation tools operate as a joint commitment between us and you. When you choose to self-exclude, we will take reasonable steps to prevent you from re-opening your account or registering new accounts during the exclusion period. You must not attempt to circumvent your own exclusion.
7.2 Having implemented reasonable checks and safeguards, we cannot be held liable to you or any third party if you are able to continue gambling during an exclusion period. Any winnings generated during a self-exclusion or time-out period will be null and void and will not be paid.
7.3 Players who are self-excluded or on a time-out are not eligible for any bonuses, promotions, or targeted offers during the restriction period.
7.4 If you feel that gambling is causing harm to you or someone close to you, please contact our Customer Support team at any time. All responsible gambling requests are handled by trained staff with complete confidentiality.
